LEANCAT and KRATZER AUTOMATION jointly offer test systems for fuel cells

Joint press release

LEANCAT and German company KRATZER AUTOMATION are now working together on test systems for fuel cells. LEANCAT, founded thanks to a partnership with the Charles University in Prague, has outstanding know-how in fuel cell technology and test equipment for fuel cells. KRATZER AUTOMATION is a specialist for highly complex test systems which are mainly used in the automotive industry. Within the scope of the collaboration, LEANCAT will contribute their own technology for cell and stack test benches, while KRATZER AUTOMATION will take over the control and automation of the test benches. Additionally KRATZER AUTOMATION offers solutions for test data and test facility management.

"Green hydrogen and fuel cell technology are an important pillar in the decarbonization of many sectors. We therefore see an increasing demand for test systems required for this purpose" says Prof. Vladimír Matolín, CEO Leancat.

"Now that we already have test rigs for fuel cell systems and auxiliary equipment in our portfolio, we can also offer our customers test systems for single cells and stacks" says Detlef Naundorf, Vice President Technology, KRATZER AUTOMATION AG.
